On the “Sites” menu in Dreamweaver, select “Manage Sites”. On this dialog click “New” and select “Site”.
Pick a name for you site and provide the URL that your site will be accessible at.
Select “No, I do not want to use a server technology.”
Select “Edit local copies on my machine, then upload to server when ready (recommended).”
Select “WebDAV” to connect to the remote server. Specify https://webdav.hks.harvard.edu/your_site/ and specify your login username and password in the appropriate fields. Be sure to add the “s” to the address, e.g. 'https://'.

IF YOU ARE HERE AS A RESULT OF THE FACULTY WEBSITE TRANSFER, YOUR REMOTE SERVER INFORMATION IS “https://webdav.hks.harvard.edu/fs/shortname”. IF YOU DO NOT KNOW THE FACULTY MEMBERS SHORTNAME CONTACT MARK BOURNE.
Select “No, do not enable check in and check out.”
Review your input on the screen, and when you are certain it is correct, click “Done” and your site will be added.
